Publication Arabic Derivative Morphology For Luganda Lexical Developments(Penerbit USIM, 2014) ;Kirembwe Rashid Abdul Hamed ;Mohammad Najib Bin JaafarHishomudin AhmadThe major issue addressed here is the fact that Luganda Derivative morphology(LDM)has much to learn from Arabic Derivative Morphology(ADM), because both Luganda and Arabic use similar morphological arts for word expansion. Although Arabic lexical-arts are closer to that of Luganda, Luganda has learnt very little from Arabic language in terms of vocabulary application. Thus, Luganda still suffers from inadequate morphology control upon word meanings. The authors observe that most of Luganda lexical concepts are limited to traditional expressions other than consistent scientific concepts as it is witnessed in Arabic language. Thus, Luganda activities can hardly reach modern linguistic competence that deems necessary for meaningful developments. This problem has lead to a phenomenon that Ugandans researchers and translators find difficulties in deciding on Luganda Arabic lexical equivalents. In the authors’ opinion, the activation of (ADM) principles with Luganda wordlist does not only Luganda lexical application but it also develops Luganda lexical-arts to wider intellectual perspectives. It is possible to develop Luganda Derivative Morphology (LDM as well as Luganda Lexical-arts by applying Arabic Derivative Morphology (DM, at three levels:1. with words that exist in Luganda language with Arabic origin and never changed which are referred to as Borrowed Luganda Words (BLW, 2. with Arabic words that exist in Luganda with Arabic origin but changed which are referred to as Borrowed Luganda Words Changed (BLWC) and 3. with the rest of Typical Luganda Words; which are referred to as (TLW). The paper respective instances for (BL W), (BL WC) and (TL W) applicable with (ADM). The paper has also provided instances of activating the original Arabic meanings for vocabularies which exist in Luganda wordlists with Arabic origin that forgotten as well as a guide to using (ADM) for expanding Luganda vocabularies in question. Finally, the paper ends with recommendations for subsequent researchers’ consideration with Luganda developments in question. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Publication Effects Of Complementary Approach On Arabic Writing Skills For Trainee Teachers(World Wide Journals, 2021) ;Kirembwe Rashid Abdul HamedAli Abdullah Muthanna Al-shaeriThe purpose of this article is to report a quasi-experimental research on Arabic writing skills AWS for the trainee teachers. The effect of complementary approach CA on achievements of AWS for grade one Arabic as a Second Language students was investigated. The null hypothesis (Ho); there is no signicant difference at 0.05 between students' achievements in the experimental cluster and students' achievements in the control cluster when CA is used to teach AWS was tested. The Randomized Solomon Four Group Design n=100 was used. Different statistical measures were applied to analyze the data including averages, standard deviations, degrees of freedom and independent t-tests. The ndings yielded the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho) of no significant difference between clusters' means when CA is used to teach AWS for the sample in question at: 1-2 =19.04, t=5.223, df (48)=.000, α2, p <.05. The alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted due to the following data abstractions: integrated reading and orthography: 1-2 =11.12, t=3.955, df (48)=.000, α2, p <.05; integrated reading and essay writing: 1-2 =31.24, t=5.630, df (48)=.000, α2, p <.05; integrated listening and summary writing: 1-2 =-6.461, t=-1.246, df (48)= .220, α2, p >.05 and integrated speaking and report writing: 1-2 =40.44, t=7.823, df (48)=.000, α2, p <.05. Other than the CA strategy of integrated listening and summary writing which yielded insignicant effects, the rest of the selected CA strategies positively inuenced AWS variables in question. These ndings can be interpreted in a number of implications, including building integrative AWS curricula for the purpose of Arabic writing benchmarking and standardization. They are also applicable in terms of predicting and controlling of relevant Arabic linguistic variables for different research and practical purposes. The signicance of these ndings is also feasible with the contemporary scientic call for the diversication of communication andragogy. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication The Five Constructs For Translation Quality Analyses; A Pilot Standardization Of Factors Influencing Translation Products(GJRA Worldwide Journals, 2020) ;Kirembwe Rashid Abdul HamedElhadi Moh. M. OhidaThis pilot research analyses the translation quality constructs that deem necessary for both source text ST and target text TT. The researchers' experiences in translation research and practice revealed that basically, there are five constructs of translation quality analysis which can always correlate with TT regardless of differences in translation models or theoretical backgrounds used. The Five Constructs for Translation Quality Analysis (FCTQA) include: translator, source text ST, ST initiator, translation process and linguistic characteristics. Thus, this pilot study was directed to develop basic translation quality constructs for reliable translation products' analyses. Hence, the research was designed to answer five scientific questions about both the validity and reliability of (FCTQA) in question. This study used purposive sampling techniques and a questionnaire for the process of internal consistency data collection which included the sample of professional translators in both countries; Malaysia and Libya. Each construct was loaded with a number of respective factors. The questionnaires were distributed to (n=30) of the said professional translators and all were completed and returned to the researchers. The process of data analyses depended much on descriptive statistics; whereby mean averages and correlational analyses were applied. The data were analyzed and measured against the pilot research constructs. The overall reliability coefficent of (FCTQA) was (r)=0.84 yielded by 136 factors. Then, the general discussions of (FCTQA)findings included guidelines on translation research directions; whereupon, the interpretation of findings addressed current issues on translation quality analysis. Finally, the professional suggestions and recommendations were provided in regard to (FCTQA) applications and implementations, including furthering empirical research on translation for better understanding of TT quality. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Publication الدراسات السيميائية للقرآن الكريم(Centre of Quranic Research (CQR), University of Malaya, 2016) ;Ayad Abdullah ;Adibah Sulaiman @ Mohamad ;Hishomudin Ahmad ;Mohammad Najib Jaffar ;Nur Hamimi Zainuddin ;Kirembwe Rashid Abdul HamedLubna Abd RahmanSemiotics is the study of signs and symbols as elements of communicative behavior; the analysis of systems of communication. Qur'an pointed out the semiotics explicitly in several verses, which demonstrated the use of signals to communicate between humans instead of the speech. The Muslim scholars discussed this term for many centuries before it became part of General Linguistics. The problem is that the semiotics Applied Studies have spread to include the Holy Quran, most of the applications did not come with something new to serve the Qur'an. On the other hand, most studies have focused on relationships between signs and symbols, which are sub-labels and may not have an outstanding significance in the text. This paper aims to discuss the feasibility of the semiotics studies and the findings of those applications. Through descriptive and analytical approaches, the article is discussed in three sections; the Semiotics concept, Semiotics textual analysis, and the application of this approach on the Quran texts. After reviewing three applications, the researchers found that these applications have not increased the interpretation of the texts in the Quran, instead, by drawing attention to the semiotics signs, there was a great loss in the essence of the Quranic story and the meanings of the texts in the Quran. Thus, the researchers caution that this approach should not be applied to Quran. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication المواثيق الأخلاقية لمهنة التدريس وسلوكيات المعلم التي تتفق باخلاقيات المهنة: دراسة وصفية تحليلية(World Conference Net., 2019) ;Muna Mohammed Zaher AlhinaiKirembwe Rashid Abdul HamedThis paper is part of an extensive doctoral study, which aims to discuss the Ethical charters, the teaching profession and the behavior of the teacher which conform to the ethics of the profession. Educational statistics of the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman indicate that there are marked disparity in the levels of male and female students, whether in success rate or repetition or in general achievement level, which makes us to look for the reasons that lead to these differences, Of the interrelated rules of the majority of teachers, which may affect the behavior of students in the classroom, and emphasize the need for teachers to adhere to this ethic. The researcher adopted the analytical descriptive approach and the Johns & Saks (2005) concept of organizational behavior. The topic was discussed in three areas: The moral charters of the teaching profession at the Arab and foreign countries, the characteristics of the teacher's ethics, and finally the teacher's behavior which conforms to the teaching profession ethics. The findings revealed the need for the moral duties of the teacher in terms of his profession, his relationship with his students and his relationship with the society in which he lives. The Arab charters affirmed the integrity of the teacher's doctrine in line with the nature, identity and culture of Arab societies. While foreign covenants were used for the term jam instead of teacher. She took care of the learning environment, and the ethics of the profession towards students and parents. The profession of education is sacred. Its functionaries must perform the right to belong to it; to be faithful to work and to be true to the soul and the society, and to continuous giving to spread well and eliminate ignorance and evil. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
