Ia memaparkan kewibawaan, kecekalan serta kerajinan seorang ulama Nusantara di peringkat dunia. Analisis dari aspek bahasa yang dibuat dalam kajian ini adalah bertujuan untuk mengukur kewibawaan al-Tarmasiy dalam penulisan bahasa arab beliau. Bagi seseorang ilmuan yang membesar di Nusantara dan hanya mendapat pendedahan tentang penghasilan karya dalam bahasa arab ketika usianya menginjak dewasa, adalah menjadi tanda tanya perihal kewibawaan bahasa penulisannya. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah berbentuk kualitatif. Penyelidikan yang dijalankan adalah berdasarkan manuskrip yang merupakan instrumen utama. Pengumpulan data dalam bentuk perkataan dianalisis secara induktif. Fokus dibuat kepada makna yang dikandunginya serta dijelaskan ketika berlaku kesamaran. Penyelidikan kualitatif sebegini menghasilkan dapatan yang bukan melalui prosedur statistik atau lain-lain bentuk pengiraan. Hasilnya didapati bahawa al-Tarmasiy menguasai ilmu bahasa arab serta dapat menerapkan pengetahuannya itu dengan baik. Walaupun terdapat beberapa kesalahan bahasa di sepanjang halaman-halaman manuskripnya, ia tidaklah banyak. Malahan ia adalah kesalahan biasa bagi mana-mana penulis Nusantara ketika berkarya dalam bahasa arab. Implikasi di sebalik kekurangan ini adalah ia berupaya mengukuhkan bukti manuskrip tersebut adalah buah tangan al-Tarmasiy sendiri. Kajian sebegini juga mampu menonjolkan kehebatan karya-karya ulama Nusantara serta mengangkatnya ke peringkat yang lebih tinggi. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

It demonstrates the integrity, dedication and diligent of an archipelago’s scholar to the outside world. The language analysis conducted in this study is aimed to measure al-Tarmasiy’s credibility through his writings in Arabic. For a scholar who grew up at archipelago and only got exposure to the Arabic writings when he was already grown-up, his writing’s language integrity will be queried. The methodology used in this study is qualitative method. The conducted study is based on the manuscript which is the main instrument of this research. The data collection in form of words is analyzed inductively. The main focus of this study is the meaning contained in the manuscript and has been clarified if there is any ambiguity. The findings from this study are not through the statistical procedure or any other form of calculation. The findings indicate that al-Tarmasiy has mastered the Arabic language and capable of implementing his knowledge with flying colours. Despite that there are severallanguage errors throughout his manuscripts, it is not so noticeable. In fact, it is a common mistake for any archipelago’s writers when writing in Arabic. The implication behind this deficiency shows that the manuscript was his own writing. This kind of study is able to highlight the greatness of the archipelago’s scholar’s writings as well as ascending it to a higher level. Publication Cabaran Masyarakat Islam Dalam Melaksanakan Amalan Ibadah Ketika Pandemik Covid-19(Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, 2021-10-06) ;Siti Samihah Mohd Yusoff ;Noornajihan Ja’afar ;Muhammad Hafiz Saleh ;Ismail AbdullahAhmad Sanusi AzmiMalaysia telah mengesahkan kes COVID-19 yang pertama di negara ini pada 25 Januari 2020. Tahun 2021 merupakan tahun kedua rakyat Malaysia berhadapan dengan pandemik COVID-19. Kerajaan telah melaksanakan pelbagai tindakan pencegahan untuk mematahkan rantaian COVID-19. Tindakan pencegahan ini menyebabkan kebanyakan rakyat Malaysia terpaksa berada di rumah dan menjaga Prosedur Operasi Standard (SOP) yang ditetapkan oleh kerajaan. Tidak terkecuali juga ianya memberi kesan terhadap aktiviti beribadah bagi masyarakat Islam. Justeru itu, kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengupas cabaran yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat Islam dalam melaksanakan amalan ibadah ketika pandemik dan penyelesaian kepada perkara tersebut. Di samping itu, kajian ini juga mengemukakan ayat-ayat Al-Quran berhubung dengan perintah untuk beribadah kepada Allah s.w.t dan amalan-amalan ibadah yang dianjurkan bagi setiap Muslim. Metodologi yang akan digunakan di dalam kajian ini ialah kajian kepustakaan iaitu dengan menganalisis laporan, SOP serta artikel yang berkenaan. Hasil dapatan kajian ini termasuklah cabaran dan penyelesaian pelaksanaan amalan ibadah yang terkesan antaranya aktiviti di masjid dan surau seperti solat berjemaah, ceramah dan tazkirah, aktiviti di bulan Ramadan dan di hari perayaan, ibadah haji dan umrah, serta zakat dan sedekah. Publication Developing An Effective Quran Memorisation Technique Using Fuzzy Delphi Method(Usuli Faqih Research Centre PLT, 2017) ;Muhammad Hafiz Saleh ;Zaharah Hussin ;Zawawi Ismail ;Zulkiple Abd Ghani ;Adnan Mohamed YusoffHayati HussinThe main objective of the tahfiz curriculum is to create a generation of huffaz (the memorisers of the Quran) who remember the entire Quran to preserve its content from any distortion, addition and deviation. Every student is required to memorise and remember all 6236 verses from the Quran in a stipulated period. Previous studies found that the tahfiz students in Malaysia are facing difficulties in memorising the entire Quran in the predetermined time. Most of the issues and problems faced by them because they are not exposed to an effective and systematic method in memorising the Quran. Given the serious performance issues of tahfiz students in Malaysia, research is needed to develop an effective Quran memorisation technique. For that purpose, the researchers have come out with specific techniques in memorising the Quran from books that became the primary reference in the field of tahfiz using document analysis. Next, the researchers used Fuzzy Delphi Method to validate the Quran memorisation techniques. The Fuzzy Delphi Method is applied in this research to obtain views and consensus from the experts in a structured manner. This research used document analysis and quantitative method. In conclusion, 22 memorisation techniques were drafted and approved by the experts in the field of tahfiz al-Quran education. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Dimensi Pelajar Terhadap Penggunaan Medium Teknologi Dalam Kursus Hafazan Al-Quran Semasa Covid-19: Kajian Terhadap Pelajar Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM)(Kolej Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Selangor, 2022) ;Hayati Hussin ;Abd Rahman Abd Ghani ;Abdul Rahim Ahmad ;Muhammad Hafiz SalehNoor Hafizah Mohd HaridiRecently, the whole world was tested with the covid-19 pandemic and it's effects which continue to this day. Apart from the economy affected by this epidemic, it also has an impact from various aspects such as medicine and health, community social, tourism and travel, psychology and mental health and also has a clear impact in the education and higher education sector. The teaching and learning methods of the Quran memorization course face to face are exchanged online or virtual. The existence of the Covid-19 virus seems to be pushing the world community, including Malaysia, towards a more comprehensive use of digital technology, which indirectly causes a digital surge in Malaysia. Thus, this study aims to explore the dimensions of students on the use of technological medium for the course of memorization of the Quran during covid-19 by analysis of undergraduate students of USIM. This study is a qualitative study in the form of a case study through Focus Group Interviews (FGI) used because it meets the objectives of the study. The results of the study found that there are four themes that form the basis of the analysis of technology use among undergraduate students at USIM during covid-19, namely the technology medium used by students in T&L sessions to memorize the Quran is through microsoff teams, whatsapp applications and telegram applications. All students, 6 out of 10 students, representing 60% agreed that the advantages of using the medium of technology in PdP memorization of the Quran makes the course easier and more flexible to learn during covid-19. There are 8 out of 10 students, representing 80%, said that the main constraint of T&L through the medium of technology is the weak internet line. As for the remaining students, 2 out of 10 people representing 20% said that the main problem of T&L memorizing the Quran by using the medium of technology is the challenge to repeat the memorization of the Quran and also the lecturers can not monitor students. This study has important implications for public and private universities as well as tahfiz educational institutions in Malaysia in general towards the formation of a more robust and quality al-Quran generations in mastering al-Quran memorization. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Diversifying Quranic Revision Methods Using Gamification-based Teaching Material For Tahfiz Education(Institute of Advanced Engineering and Science (IAE, 2024) ;Abd Muhaimin Ahmad ;Azman Ab. Rahman ;Muhammad Hafiz SalehZainora DaudThis study discusses the development procedure of the global tahfiz game (GTG) as a teaching aid for the Quranic revision subject for tahfiz students based on the gamification concept. Comprehensive design and development research (DDR) was used as the research method. The analysis includes conceptual and material development, expert evaluation, testing, and the final product. The development of concepts and materials used in this gamification was based on the theoretical framework of mechanics, dynamics, and aesthetics (MDA), with the application of tahfiz education elements. To examine the ability of GTG prototype to tackle the users’ needs, we have conducted the usability analysis. The expert teacher's mean score for the trial run on this gamification was high at 4.85. The trial run score for student participants was also high (4.45). The result demonstrated that most of the constructs are perceived at a high level by respondents. Thus, this indicated the high usability of GTG to be used as a teaching aid for a Quranic revision subject. The gamification of Quranic tahfiz based on board games has been finalized through recommendations and improvements based on the evaluation. The study findings are expected to be useful for educational institutions or researchers in developing teaching materials using the MDA framework for gamification, particularly in the field of Islamic education. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Muhaimin Ahmad ;Zainora DaudMuhammad Faiz Abd. ShakorThis study aims to measure the level of effectiveness of the Global Tahfiz Game (GTG) in education. This study involved 86 tahfiz teachers in tahfiz institutions in Malaysia. The design of this study is a quantitative study that uses a questionnaire as a research instrument. Quantitative data were analyzed descriptively using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) to obtain frequencies and percentages. The results of the study found that in general, the level of effectiveness of GTG in Education is at a good level. The results of this study can also be used as a benchmark for the developers of gamification innovation products to make more improvements and production of other innovative products for other areas that are still less emphasized for the benefit of the Muslim community in particular and society in general. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

It’s learning and teaching process remains conventionally. Besides that, this knowledge is spread out for certain groups of students especially those who are from the field of tahfiz al-Quran. Consequently, it has led towards an ignorance phenomenon of this knowledge among the community. The various styles of qiraat recitation could also lead to confusion and divergence among the society. Thus, this study aims to introduce a mobile application which has been developed by integrating the elements of naqli and aqli knowledge as an effort to introduce the recitation of riwayat Warsh to the Muslim society. The methodology used is qualitative and applied content analysis method and the mobile app design. As a result, a mobile app for teaching and learning the science of Qiraat on riwayat Warsh named EZ-WARSH has successfully developed in Malay language. Though, it still needs some more time to ensure that it could work effectively. Publication Fenomena Tahfiz di Malysia: Keperluan Institut Perguruan Tahfiz Malaysia bagi Lepasan Aliran Tahfiz(UNISZA, 2020) ;Norazman Alias ;Muhammad Hafiz Saleh ;Abd Muhaimin Ahmad ;Muhammad Arif Musa ;Hayati HussinZainora DaudIt is well known that the Quranic sanad is one of the three main conditions in accepting the authentic of Quranic recitations (also known as qiraat). In the beginning, the Quranic sanad was recorded on a piece of paper as an important document confirming that one had finished reading the Quran in front of the teacher and had completed all knowledge related to qiraat. The writings relating toQuranic sanad have evolved with the birth of Quranic figures such as Al-Zahabi (d. 748H) who produced the work of Ma'rifah al-Qurra’ al-Kibar, Ibn al-Jazari (d. 833H) through the work of Ghayah al-Nihayah fi Tabaqat al-Qurra’ and al-Nasyr fi al-Qiraat al-Asyr and more. The objective of this study is to study the methodology in the writing of former scholars in works related to the Quranic sanad. In addition, the study also focuses on the writings of contemporary scholars in this field such as the book of Ithaf al-Zaman bi Asanid Ahl al-Quran by Dr. Ilyas al-Barmawi and the book of al-Salasil al-Zahabiyyah bi al-Asanid al-Nasyriyyah by Dr. Aiman Rusydi Suwaid who reviews the Quranic sanad in a structured and critical manner. This study will be conducted through descriptive qualitative methods with particular focus on selected Quranic sanad books. The deductive method in the study will be used to maximize the expected results. The study found that writing in this field has been given priority by previous scholars by using of the Qurra’ biography method, their teachers and students. The contemporary scholars, however, emphasized the existence of high-level sanad to the Messenger of Allah and also discussed current issues related to sanad. Publication Fuzzy Delphi Method Application in Developing Methodology for Integrating Memorised Quranic Verses with Aqli Knowledge Based on Quranic Exegesis(Brill, 2023) ;Ahmad Bazli Ahmad Hilmi ;Selamat bin Amir ;Muhammad Hafiz SalehAdibah SulaimanIntegrating naqli and aqli knowledge is an approach used in the Kolej GENIUS Insan curriculum. However, no specific model for integrating memorised Quranic verses with aqli knowledge has been highlighted for the subject of Hifz al-Quran. This study aims to outline the methodology of integrating memorised Quranic verses with aqli knowledge based on the discipline of Quranic exegesis. The Fuzzy Delphi method was used, involving twelve experts in Quranic exegesis. The findings showed that the consensus of the experts in the methodology of integrating memorised Quranic verses is the interpretation of the Quran based on the Quran, followed by the interpretation based on the opinion (al-raʾy), the hadith, the opinion of the companions, the opinion of the followers, the language, and the opinion of the previously recognised exegetes. Hence, tapers off and hampers PTIs’ efforts to generate their own income through entrepreneurial activities, since consumers are not able to access product information effectively. This paper discusses PTIs product marketing concept, succeeded by the proposal to develop an integrated marketing portal as a ‘one stop center’ for PTIs products, followed by the introduction of P-MyTahfiz portal as an integrated digital marketing platform for tahfizpreneurship products in Malaysia. Semi structured interviews were carried out to 6 informants of the study comprised of selected entrepreneurs or administrators or founders of Private Tahfiz Institutions (PTIs) who execute entrepreneurial activities in Malaysia by means of purposive sampling and analyzed via content analysis. The study’s findings revealed that marketing of PTIs products/services is not integrated considering each PTIs utilizes a private marketing platform that negatively affects consumers’ experience, making it hard for them to access products/services more effectively and efficiently. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Kaedah Memahami Makna al-Quran dalam Pengintegrasian Ayat Hafazan dengan Ilmu Aqli(USIM Press, 2021-12) ;Ahmad Bazli Ahmad Hilmi ;Muhammad Hafiz SalehAdibah Sulaiman @ MohamadEfforts to integrate the Quranic memorised verse with the aqli knowledge have been given attention by several tahfiz educational institutions in Malaysia, among them through an integrated curriculum approach and integration between subjects. However, the integrating of the Quran with aqli knowledge requires a deep understanding of the meaning of the verse because of the position of the Quran as Kalamullah. Hence, this study highlights the methods outlined by the scholars to understand the meaning of the Quran. Library research methodology is used in this study by analyzing the writings of scholars on the method of understanding the verses of memorization of the Quran. The results of the study found that scholars outlined 18 methods to understand memorized verses of the Quran: knowing asbab al-nuzul, knowing the methodology of Arabic language, knowing topic and basic objective of al-Quran, a comprehensive view of verses for a topic (interpretation of al-Quran with al-Quran), understanding from hadith perspective, utilising the commentary of companions and followers, knowing environment of revelation (makkiyyah and madaniyyah), knowing al-nasikh and al-mansukh, knowing muhkam and mutashabih, knowing the meaning of a single word in various contexts, knowing the context of verse, knowing dilalah of verse (meaning), knowing the discourse of the Quran, knowing customs and stories of Arab, knowing al-waqf and al-ibtida’, beware of Israiliyyat, knowing - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Di antara cabaran terbesar yang dihadapi oleh penghafaz al-Quran adalah mengingati ayat–ayat mutashabih lafaz, iaitu ayat-ayat al-Quran yang sama atau hampir sama dari sudut lafaznya. Kesukaran dalam menghafaz dan mengingati ayat-ayat mutashabih lafaz ini menuntut kepada kaedah pengajaran dan pembelajaran khusus sama ada dari pihak institusi tahfiz, guru dan juga pelajar. Justeru, objektif kajian adalah untuk mengenal pasti kaedah hafazan di kalangan pelajar tahfiz al-Quran terhadap ayat mutashabih lafaz, dengan menjadikan Darul Quran Jakim dan Jabatan al-Quran dan al-Qiraat KUIS sebagai lokasi kajian. Kajian ini dibina berdasarkan metodologi kualitatif yang menggunakan kaedah temubual separa berstruktur sebagai instumen kajian. 30 orang pelajar tahfiz institusi tersebut dipilih sebagai peserta kajian. Publication Kertas Konsep Pengintegrasian Ayat Hafazan al-Quran dengan Ilmu Aqli: Ke Arah Pembangunan Model di Kolej GENIUS Insan(USIM Press, 2022) ;Ahmad Bazli Ahmad Hilmi ;Muhammad Hafiz SalehAdibah Sulaiman @ MohamadPendidikan tahfiz di Malaysia semakin berkembang dengan pengenalan Kurikulum Bersepadu Tahfiz (KBT). Mutakhir ini terdapat usaha untuk mengintegrasikan hafazan al-Qur’an dengan subjek-subjek akademik yang dipelajari pelajar. Namun, model integrasi ayat hafazan dengan ilmu aqli berlandaskan disiplin ilmu tafsir bagi kegunaan pelajar peringkat menengah belum diketengahkan. Kertas konsep ini bertujuan membangunkan model pengintegrasian ayat hafazan Al-Quran dengan ilmu aqli di Kolej GENIUS Insan. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan Design and Developmental Research (DDR) yang diasaskan oleh Richey dan Klein (2007) yang mempunyai tiga fasa iaitu analisis keperluan, reka bentuk dan pembangunan, dan penilaian kebolehgunaan. Bagi analisis keperluan, tinjauan menggunakan temu bual dilakukan dalam kalangan guru, alumni, dan pelajar Kolej GENIUS Insan untuk melihat bagaimana pengintegrasian ayat hafazan Al-Quran dengan ilmu aqli diimplementasikan. Fasa kedua ialah mereka bentuk model menggunakan kaedah Focus Group Discussion (FGD) melibatkan 7 orang pakar dan membangunkan model menggunakan pendekatan Fuzzy Delphi Method melibatkan 12 pakar. Model prototaip untuk integrasi ayat hafazan Al-Quran dengan ilmu aqli akan menjadi hasil fasa ini. Publication Legasi Al-Tarmasiy Dalam Bidang Qiraat(USIM Press, 2020-05) ;Hayati Hussin ;Abdul Rahim Ahmad ;Muhammad Hafiz SalehMuhammad Arif MusaAl-Tarmasiy merupakan seorang ulama nusantara yang prolifik. Beliau banyak menghasilkan kitab dalam pelbagai disiplin pengajian Islam. Namun keunggulan beliau dalam bidang qiraat lebih terserlah. Karya beliau dalam bidang qiraat mewakili peratusan yang tertinggi berbanding bidang pengajian Islam yang lain. Justeru kertas kerja ini dihasilkan bagi menyingkap legasi beliau dalam bidang qiraat. Metodologi kajian ini bersifat kualitatif dan berbentuk analisis kandungan dengan berpandukan kepada kitab-kitab qiraat karangan beliau. Hasil kajian mendapati terdapat enam buah kitab yang telah dihasilkan oleh al-Tarmasiy dalam bidang qiraat. Kitab-kitab tersebut iaitu Tacmim al-Manafic bi Qira’at al-Imam Nafic, Tanwir al-Sadr bi Qira’at al-Imam Abi cAmr, Ghunyat al-Talabah bi Sharh al-Tayyibah, Al-Badr al-Munir fi Qira’at al-Imam Ibn Kathir, Al-Risalah al-Tarmasiyyah fi Isnad al-Qira’at al-cAshriyyah dan Inshirah al-Fawaid fi Qira’at al-Imam Hamzah Riwayatay Khalaf wa Khallad. Implikasinya kajian ini dapat menyumbang ke arah usaha mentahkik kitab-kitab qiraat al-Tarmasiy serta menterjemahkannya dan mensyarahkannya ke dalam bahasa ibunda. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

This helps in understanding the Quranic verses that are relevant to those fields and further exploring the contents of the Quran more broadly. However, the form of integration of the Quran with aqli knowledge and the conditions for such integration based on the expert agreement have not been highlighted. This study aims to design and develop the integration of Quranic verses with acquired knowledge form and its condition based on the discipline of Quranic exegesis. The study used the three-phase Design and Development Research (DDR) approach, and this paper only discussed the second phase, design and development. The form of the integration and its condition was designed based on the literature review and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) by seven (7) experts in the related field of study. Then, the Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM) was used to develop the form and condition. Twelve (12) experts in Quranic exegesis have participated in FDM. Experts’ consensus has been obtained in developing the forms for integrating Quranic verses with acquired knowledge and its conditions. The forms involve eleven items: Discussion of Concept, Discussion of the Quranic Approach, Explanation of function, Explanation of feature, Explanation of process, Explanation of cause and effect, Rational explanation of aspects of language, Explanation of Islamic legislation’s wisdom, Explanation of historiography and geography of the stories in the Quran, Inspirational Innovation by the Quran, Translational Technology from the Quran. The conditions for integrating consist of nine items and the experts emphasise the conditions concerning ethics more than the conditions relating to interpretation content. This study has significant implications for using new methods, namely design and development research. This study also contributes to the Quranic studies itself using quantitative and qualitative studies that combine various methods in one study. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Kaedah pembelajaran secara bersemuka ditukarkan kepada kaedah pembelajaran secara atas talian atau maya. Kewujudan virus COVID-19 seakan-akan mengasak masyarakat dunia termasuk Malaysia ke arah penggunaan teknologi secara lebih menyeluruh yang secara tidak langsung menyebabkan satu lonjakan digital di Malaysia. Penggunaan teknologi telah banyak digunakan dalam kehidupan seharian. di mana keberadaannya bertindak sebagai media atau alat untuk kegiatan dalam pelbagai bidang seperti dalam bidang pendidikan, penyelidikan, perniagaan, sosial, dan sebagainya. Terdapat beberapa aplikasi yang sering digunakan di dalam kehidupan seharian adalah telefon bimbit, Cakera padat untuk penyimpanan data, komputer, dan sebagainya. Justeru kertas kerja ini bertujuan untuk menerokai medium teknologi yang digunakan oleh para pelajar dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran subjek hafazan al-Quran di Universiti Awam dan Swasta. Kajian ini merupakan kajian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode pemerhatian dan analisa dokumen berkaitan medium teknologi dalam subjek Hafazan al-Quran di beberapa Universiti Awan dan swasta. Hasil kajian mendapati terdapat banyak medium teknologi yang digunakan oleh para pelajar dalam sesi pdpr semasa covid-19. Medium teknologi tersebut di antaranya ialah aplikasi google meet, aplikasi zoom, aplikasi whatsapp melalui video call, aplikasi teams dan goals, aplikasi telegram, google classroom dan aplikasi youtube yang telah digunakan dalam sesi pdpr bagi kursus hafazan al-Quran. Kepelbagaian medium teknologi yang digunakan ini dapat membentuk Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran pengajian tahfiz menjadi lebih efektif, menarik dan sesuai dengan perkembangan dan kehendak pembelajaran semasa Covid-19. Undoubtedly, some of the less fortunate ones, especially those who are unable to see, are left behind in seizing the advantages and blessings promised by Allah for Qur'an memorisation. It is a logical assumption that the absence of visual experience, in congenitally and totally blind individuals, produces severe cognitive consequences and, in particular, the inability to produce visuo-spatial mental images.However, received empirical support Tomaso Vecchi et.al, (2004) demonstrated that blind individuals may have representations, which are functionally equivalent to the visuo-spatial mental images of sighted individuals. Hence, this paper will identify some scholars who memorised the Qur'an even though their vision is limited. In addition, this study will also briefly provide their biography and academic contribution. This study adopted a qualitative approach using the analytical method by studying some of the relevant documents. This study found that there are successful scholars among those who have visual impairment that able to memorise the entire Qur‟an. Furthermore, they have different areas of expertise and their knowledge and wisdom have become a source of reference until today. Among them are Imam as Syatibi an expert in qiraat; Syeikh „Abd al-Hamid Kishk who earned excellent results in every level of study; Syeikh Dr Fadhl Hassan an expert in the field of the Tafseer Qur‟an; and Syeikh Muhammad Rif'at who specialises in the field of tarannum. The difference in effort is not a barrier to individual excellence. The greatness of the Qur'an as the greatest miracle proves that even without the eyesight, there are many groups of al-Huffaz and alQurra 'among the visually impaired. This shows that the issues and problems of al-Qur‟an proficiency among the people with visual impairment can be enhanced especially in Malaysia by identifying the best methodology for their level and ability. The researcher also hopes that it will provide encouragement and inspiration to the Qur'anic memorisers who have limitations in the use of the senses in particular as well as the Quranic memoriser who have sensual perfection in general. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Among the biggest challenge faced by a student is to remember the mutashabihat verses which appear to be like one another. The difficulty in memorizing and remembering the mutashabih lafaz verses requires specific teaching and learning methods from the institutions of tahfiz, teachers and students. However, how far this matter is addressed seriously at the institutional of tahfiz is still questionable. Therefore, the objective of the study is to identify the methods of memorization among students tahfiz on the mutashabih lafaz verse, by making Darul Quran Jakim and Department of al-Quran and al-Qiraat, KUIS as research locations. This study was developed based on qualitative method using semi structured interviews as research instrument. 30 tahfiz students from both institutions were selected as participants. The study found that the most frequently methods used were; 1. Identifying the mutashabihat verses and making relevant notes during the memorization and revision sessions, 2. Referring to Quranic exegesis or translation to understand the meaning of the verses, 3. Repeating as much as possible with a focus on the mutashabihat verses. The study also found that no specific reference or book was used in both institutions to overcome the difficulty of memorizing the mutashabihat verses. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Both sets of data weretriangulated usingthematic analysis to establishresearch themes.
